In the frame of the EMERALD 21-COP-0019 project<\/strong>, Politehnica University of Bucharest (Romania)<\/strong> in cooperation with the other partners of the EMERALD project consortium (coming from different European Technical Universities (TU of Cluj-Napoca (Romania), TU Poznan (Poland), University of Agder (Norway) and one private company (BIZZCOM s.r.o. of Slovakia), is organizing on the date of 2 september 2022<\/strong> the \u201eMultiplier event on research base learning method for teaching in bio-mechatronics\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The multiplier event is organized and addressed<\/strong> mainly to professors, students, researchers and scientists <\/strong>that are coming from University Institutes of EU and non-EU countries, but also to private companies and R&D institutes<\/strong> that are activating in the engineering and medical<\/strong> domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activities of this event that is organized \u201efree of charge<\/strong>\u201d are scheduled to be held with physical presence at the Politehnica University of Bucharest (Romania)<\/strong> – UPB Central Library, Hall C.2.2  on the date of 2 september 2022 <\/strong>between 9-14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main aim of the EMERALD Multiplier Event organized at the Politehnica University of Bucharest (Romania)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main aim<\/strong> of this event is to present the main concept of the EMERALD project, as well as the research base learning method for teaching in bio-mechatronics domain, comprised in an e-book with 8 modules (CAD \/ CAE \/ 3D printing \/ Computer Programming \/ AR & VR \/ Bio-mechatronics \/ Sensors and Electronics \/ Smart materials) that have been prepared by the EMERALD consortium for conceiving, developing, producing and testing of biomimetic mechatronic systems for people with special needs (amputated arms).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organized event aims also to create the background and premises for all the participants in sharing the knowledge and good practice experience and expertise that is needed for realizing bio-mechatronic systems for people with special needs (amputated arms) using modern manufacturing methods (3D printing technologies) in the frame of the EMERALD European Network that will be conceived in the EMERALD project in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
